Ruben Amorim responded to Wayne Rooney’s claim that it was “naive” to say his goal at Manchester United is to win the Premier League by stating that being a pundit is the easy route.

Rooney, serving as a BBC pundit, criticized Amorim’s statement, but the United coach countered by highlighting that it’s easy to comment from a studio. He clarified that while it may not happen this season or next, the long-term goal for the club is still to win the Premier League.
United were eliminated from the FA Cup after a 1-1 draw and a penalty shootout loss to Fulham. The result puts added pressure on the team to perform in the Europa League, where they face Real Sociedad in the upcoming round of 16. Despite a strong start, Amorim acknowledged that his team couldn’t maintain control throughout the match, ultimately falling short in penalties.
