Galatasaray mocked José Mourinho on social media following their victory in the Istanbul derby during the sixth round of the Turkish Süper Lig.

Fenerbahce fell to a 3-1 defeat at home by Istanbul rivals Galatasaray for the first time this season on Saturday and the former Chelsea manager did not take the result well.

The defeat ended Fenerbahce’s 32-match unbeaten streak in the Super Ligue. After six games, they are now five points behind Galatasaray.

Galatasaray appeared to take great delight in Mourinho’s frustration and posted multiple social media posts mocking the former Chelsea boss.

The English language account, showed a miserable Mourinho on the sidelines alongside grinning Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk with the caption “Winning One”. Another read “seems like we’re cooking a special one tonight” with a meal and hand-over-mouth laughing emoji.

The Turkish language account went even further, mocking up a book entitled “The Crying One” with the caption “On sale in stores around Kadikoy” – the area of Istanbul which is home to Fenerbahce.
