Thomas Tuchel has agreed a deal to become the new England manager.

Thomas Tuchel is set to be announced as England’s new permanent manager tomorrow (October 16).

The 51-year-old boasts considerable elite-level experience having led Chelsea to Champions League glory in 2021 and also taken charge of Paris St Germain and Bayern Munich.

His appointment would see him link up again with England captain and Bayern striker Harry Kane.

Tuchel is tasked with leading the Three Lions into the 2026 World Cup after a quarterfinal exit in Qatar.

Tuchel will become the third foreign manager to take charge of the English men’s national team – after the late Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello – and the first German.
