    Inter start again in Genoa

The reigning Italian champions, Inter, kick off their campaign at the Marassi against Gilardino’s Genoa

Genoa vs. Inter and Parma vs. Fiorentina officially kick off the Serie A Enilive 2024/25 season. All eyes are on the Italian champions, who finished last season with a 19-point lead over the second-placed team, the second-largest margin in Serie A history after Inter’s 22-point gap over Roma in 2006/07. However, they arrive at this match having had two draws at the end of last season and have never recorded three consecutive draws with Inzaghi as their coach.

Gilardino’s Genoa, on the other hand, are looking to make an immediate impact, aiming to secure points for their fans and start the season on a strong note

    Parma open against Fiorentina

The newly-promoted Parma will host Raffaele Palladino`s Fiorentina at 18:30 CEST

Genoa vs. Inter and Parma vs. Fiorentina officially kick off the Serie A Enilive 2024/25 season. Newly-promoted Parma comes off an exceptional season in which they tallied 76 points over 38 matches, equalling their record for points in a single Serie B season (as in 2008/09) and setting a new record for goals scored in a Serie B season (66). The aim is to try to replicate that success, at least in part, by starting to earn points from today.

Raffaele Palladino`s Fiorentina will look to spoil the party for Parma`s return to Serie A Enilive, eager to start the season with a win and get off on the right foot.

New season, new coaches. Roberto D`Aversa and Alessandro Nesta, after securing their place in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa, dive into the league to aim for points right away.

The Tuscan side, who secured survival for the third consecutive season for the first time in Serie A, will aim to write another chapter in their history. AC Milan host Torino

Fonseca returns to Serie A Enilive at the helm of AC Milan. Torino, managed by Vanoli, visit San Siro

The Fonseca era, the first Portuguese coach in AC Milan’s Serie A history, begins at San Siro with the Rossoneri facing Torino. After finishing second last season, AC Milan aims to start strong and reverse the trend that saw them end the previous season with just one win in their last nine matches across all competitions (4 draws, 4 losses), a 5-1 victory against Cagliari on May 11.

Torino, who have just knocked Cosenza out of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa, have also made a change in the dugout, appointing Vanoli, fresh off promotion with Venezia. The Granata will build on the defensive unit that kept 18 clean sheets in the league last season, second only to Inter (21).
