Erling Haaland set to become Premier League’s highest-paid player with new Manchester City contract.

His existing deal is due to expire in the summer of 2027.

Erling Haaland and Manchester City are close to finalizing a deal for the renewal of the Norwegian forward’s contract. Rafaela Pimenta, Haaland’s representative, has held several meetings with the English club’s board, and everything indicates that the player will improve his current contract with the Premier League champions.

If it goes through, Haaland would become the highest-paid player on the team, surpassing Kevin de Bruyne. It is estimated that he could earn around 24 million euros net per season.

Haaland, 24, has been a standout performer since joining City in 2022, scoring an impressive 97 goals in just 102 appearances.

Haaland has enjoyed a stunning start to the new Premier League season, scoring seven goals in Man City’s opening three matches.
